All the Details:
Satisfaction Guarantee: You must be completely satisfied with your portrait. I will keep you involved from the beginning and will e-mail you a scan of my work at all stages for your approval and input. If you receive your painting and are still not satisfied with the likeness) then I will provide one reworking of the painting.
Copyright: All copyright and reproduction rights remain with the artist, while title and ownership of the physical artwork shall pass to the buyer. The artwork may not be photographed, sketched, painted or reproduced without the express, written consent of the artist.
Photographs: Any photographs you send me will be returned to you when the portrait is completed.
Materials: Your painting will be on 100% cotton rag, acid free, museum quality watercolor paper using only the finest watercolor paints and other quality water media. It will be delivered to you in an acid free white mat with an acid free foam core backing board.
Framing: Frames are a very personal choice and glass cannot be delivered to you safely by mail. The above mat sizes are all standard to make it easier and less expensive for you to find a nice frame at an art supply store or discount framer near your home. If you would like me to provide a frame I will be happy to have you select one from my favorite catalog with a 1/8" Plexiglas front and I will put it together for you and ship completely assembled for only 25% above my (wholesale) cost.
Timing: Custom portraits take between 6 to 8 weeks to prepare from the time I receive your photographs and deposit. I will do my best to accommodate special events such as birthdays and holidays. Additional items such as framing, note cards, giclee prints, place mats, etc. will require an additional two to three weeks.
Cancellation: If, for whatever reason, you need to cancel your order please let me know as soon as possible. If I have not yet begun work, then I will be happy to refund all monies paid. If I have begun work then I will refund on a percent of completion and I will return to you all your photographs and any sketches I have made.
Dedication: To make your painting even more personal I will paint in a dedication for you near the signature or on the back of the paper noting the special occasion you would like to recognize.

Additional Items: Giclee prints are available from me in addition to your portrait. Please order them when you make your final payment, or anytime after you receive your portrait. In most cases, they will be shipped to you separately from your portrait.
