I am a member of the Martha's Vineyard Art Association.  My work is now available at the Old Sculpin Gallery on Dock Street.  A show of my work just finished on September 20, 2008.  Please visit the gallery on the web at wThe natural beauty of Martha's Vineyard has always inspired me.  It is the source for most of my childhood memories.  In my paintings I try to capture the places and events that brought me joy growing up. The vistas and the hideaways and the fun I had in the summertime.  The trip over and back on the Islander is etched into my mind in so many ways; especially those early mornings on the 7:00 ferry, the fog, the storms, the coffee and doughnuts...  My favorite places are all touched by the sea: Edgartown Wharf, the Vose boathouse on the fourth of July, the Reading Room and quahogging at Collins Beach, the marshes at the Bend in the Road to name but a few.  Here is part of a growing collection of my memories of the Vineyard.  Please contact me directly for prices and availability.  I am always happy to create a custom painting of your favorite Vineyard memory for prices similar to those for my portraits.
