I  Art education promotes critical thinking. Through art students can explore the world of divergent thought and develop the creativity they will need for the world of the future. Art history shows how art reflects the events and culture of their society. We can learn about ourselves through the study of art.
I am a fully certified art teacher with experience teaching to every grade and age level. Currently I am working as the European Art History Teacher for Conservatory Prep Senior High School in Davie. Last year I worked for the Charter School of Excellence in Tamarac. Every day I taught 6 classes of between 30 to 60 students and was responsible for developing lessons in alignment with the Baltimore Core Knowledge curriculum and interpreting, reinforcing and evaluating the art concepts in the classroom.
In the summer of 2010 I worked for Nova Southeastern University School's Summer program at the Epstein Center for the Arts. I developed over 40 lessons taught to students ages 5 to 15 in art history, cartooning, illustration and multicultural art. I also teach watercolor and color theory to my private students.
